The Inshore Skipper course is a training program aimed at obtaining an international captain's license for operating a sailing or motor yacht in coastal waters. Upon completion of the course, you receive an ISSA Inshore Skipper license recognized worldwide. The qualification allows you to independently operate a vessel up to 24 meters in length in coastal areas up to 20 miles offshore in favorable weather conditions. The certificate opens access to yacht rentals, independent travel, and new career opportunities. Such a license is sufficient to enjoy sailing in almost any part of the world.

The training program is structured logically and conveniently. First, theory. You will study yacht structure, international maritime navigation rules, navigation, meteorology basics, safety rules and captain's duties. Then 2 weeks of practice.

How is the course structured?

Under the guidance of an experienced instructor, you go to sea and practice handling skills: setting sails, maneuvering, docking, rescue procedures. After completing the course, there are two exams: theoretical and practical. Their successful completion gives you the right to receive an international ISSA Inshore Skipper certificate.
