THEORETICAL COURSE
We will tell you about the arrangement of the yacht inside and outside, how to manage a boat and crew, how to build a route, communicate by radio, moor in marinas or at anchor.
Also, we teach you how to choose a yacht for the vacation and take it in a charter company.

WHY YOU SHOULD BECOME A CAPTAIN
To rent a yacht on your own anywhere in the world, invite your friends on trips and have a great time.
You may want to connect your life with the sea, work as a captain or instructor, or even become a part of our team.
After the theoretical course, you come to the yacht, where for the whole week you learn how to steer the boat moor together with the instructor. You daily practice in real conditions, remind and analyze in detail an important theory.
HOW THE TRAINING GOES
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
  • Driving a sailing yacht at sea
    Moorings, anchorages, sailing and other important and interesting things

  • Navigation
    Working with a map and compass, determining the location without GPS, determining lighthouses and buoys, divergence from other yachts and others

  • Planning the transition
    Learn how to lay a yacht route, learn about the features of different regions, learn how to choose places for anchorages and rest

  • Meteorology
    Learn how to build a route depending on the wind or impending weather, what signs indicate an impending thunderstorm and how it will blow from under a suitable cloud

  • Yacht device
    Learn how a yacht is built inside and out, learn how to work with instruments, an anchor, an engine, learn how to detect breakdowns and how to fix them yourself

  • VHF radio
    Learn to communicate over the radio, request a place in a marina, give distress signals and use satellite transmitters

  • Knots
    Learn to knit sea knots, understand ropes and rigging

  • Legal details
    Learn everything about insurance and licenses, special zones and border crossings, as well as everything you need for a comfortable trip

  • Community
    And you will become a part of a huge great community of enthusiastic people!

As a result of your training, you get an international license for operation a yacht with ISSA accreditation.
This license allows you take yachts on your own in any country and sail them day and night.

WHAT TO DO AFTER GETTING LICENSE?
You can book a yacht and go on vacation with friends on your own, or you can join our trips and try yourself as a captain next to an experienced instructor.
